Who Can Join
Are you a Māori student, apprentice, early-career professional, or someone exploring a shift into the tech/telco industry? It doesn’t matter whether you're in school, in training, in a lab, in the field, or behind a desk. If you’re curious, studying electrical/electronics engineering, or working in any related field - there’s a place for you here.
Key Initiatives
Scholarships: In 2025–26, a limited number of Māori Leaders scholarships are available for final-year Electrical and Electronic Engineering students and industry trainees. Each scholarship includes funding, industry experience, R&D opportunities, and career networking to help you finish strong and step into your next role.
Internships: Have you built your skills or passed your qualifications and now you're ready to start working? Whether it's in the field, in the lab or in the office, talk to us about your future aspirations and apply for an internship either with Tū Ātea or with one of our telco partners.
